AARP Long Island Presents - Caregiver Appreciation Month Webinar Series

.

AARP Long Island is proud to present a FREE three-part series of webinars in honor of National Caregiver Appreciation Month that are hosted by Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia (LIAD) Center. This series will focus on the importance of self-care, how to best utilize supportive resources, ways to provide quality care for a diagnosed loved one, and finding inner-strength.

Caring for a parent or loved one with any stage of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia can be a stressful and emotional journey. Nevertheless, to provide the best care, a person needs to be their best self. Through AARPNY and the Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center, caregivers have access to an entire network of support and guidance to help find hope and comfort during their journey.

Each one hour long webinar will be hosted on Zoom and they are recommended for adults ages 18 and over.

Advanced registration is required to attend these free events.  See the AARPNY event links below for more information.
