AARP Eye Center
Learning technology can often be intimidating and overwhelming. The learning curve itself can pose the biggest challenge to ardent learners. The salience of technology and virtual connection has been made abundant due to the pandemic, as has the need for more resources on learning and developing technology skills.
AARP Long Island along with Family Service League’s Senior Net is proud to present a series of specialized classes teaching technology skills to older adults. AARP members and guests are invited to join one or all of our workshops for free!
This pivotal partnership will offer virtual webinars like How To Host A Zoom, Internet Basic, Internet Security, Apple's FaceTime and iCloud, to name a few.
Senior Net will continue to offer its programs independently. AARP Long Island will support Family Service League in promoting its free offerings and making them known to a wider audience of AARP members and guests on Long Island. These workshops allow us to help more Long Islanders learn the computer skills they need now more than ever because so many activities and events are available only virtually.
