You may love feeling like a rock star with your shades on, but sunglasses in the summer are good for a lot more than vanity.
Just like it’s important for your skin to steer clear of harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun, the same is true for your eyes. Make sure to wear sunglasses with both UVA and UVB protection so you can best avoid cataracts and other harmful eye conditions. If you’ve been diagnosed with Dry Eye, sunglasses are even more important. Spring and summer are especially tough for Dry Eye sufferers, due to the increased sunlight and increased time spent outdoors, so make sure you’re taking the proper steps to protect your eyes.
