Throughout November, AARP will be continuing its Charlotte programs on the Affordable Care Act. At these November sessions, we will be joined by counselors to help answer detailed questions about how the ACA affects you and your family, including the new "Marketplace". Space is limited and pre-registration is required (see links below).

There are two topics areas for these sessions:

"ACA for Older Adults" is aimed at people 65 years and older, focusing on how the new law affects Medicare, Medicare Advantage, prescription drug coverage, Medicare fraud and long term care.

"ACA for Families" is aimed at people 50-64, focusing on how the law is being implemented here in North Carolina with respect to the "marketplace" and the Medicaid expansion. Questions about accesssing the Marketplace website ( www.healthcare.gov) can be addressed at this session.
