The Summer Nutrition & Cooking Series is for everyone who wants to learn about how to make delicious solo meals this summer.
In three one-hour live webinars on August 6, 13, and 20, from 1-2 pm EDT, Registered Dietitian Cindy Silver, will talk about the challenges and rewards of cooking for one.
From her kitchen, Cindy will take the audience step-by-step through a process of stocking up the kitchen with healthful and seasonal ingredients and then combining them into quick, cool meals that are within a modest budget. In all, there will be six recipes that Cindy demonstrates, and all participants will receive copies of these recipes.
Here are three examples of Cindy’s recipe demonstrations:
· Creative Breakfast recipes, including a demo of Mediterranean Deviled Eggs and a Breakfast Taco.
· Cold Soup recipes, including a demo of Spanish Tomato Soup and Cool Cucumber Soup.
· Quick Noodle recipes, including a demo of Green Pesto with Noodles and Fresh Summer Tomatoes with Noodles.
