The Road to Medicare

shiip_home

Choosing a Medicare plan is an important, but often overwhelming, decision. AARP North Carolina is proud to partner with the North Carolina Department of Insurance on a new program being offered in the Charlotte region, The Road to Medicare.

The Road to Medicare gives a basic overview of Medicare and is particularly helpful for those who will soon be eligible for Medicare or those who have recently joined.

The presenter is a trained volunteer counselor of the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program. SHIIP is a division of the NC Department of Insurance that provides free, unbiased Medicare counseling in all 100 counties of North Carolina.

This program is now being offered a venues across the Charlotte area. Would your organization or group benefit from one of these presentations? The Road to Medicare is available on-demand. To schedule a program for your organization, church, etc, contact Mike Olender at molender@aarp.org or 704 359 7407.

These programs are free of charge and completely non-commercial. There are no sales pitches and no products promoted.
