This disruption affects individuals living on fixed incomes, many of whom rely on SNAP to afford groceries and maintain their health.

ALBANY, N.Y. — AARP New York State Director Beth Finkel issued the following statement today in response to Governor Kathy Hochul’s announcement of new protections and resources for New Yorkers struggling with home heating assistance.
New legislation to help protect vulnerable Idaho seniors easily moved through the House and Senate and is now law in Idaho.
