Join AARP Texas as we proudly celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! This annual observance is a time to recognize and honor the rich histories, vibrant cultures, and countless contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities whose roots trace back to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Throughout the month, AARP Texas will host a dynamic lineup of events and activities across the state—highlighting the diversity, resilience, and cultural pride that shape our Hispanic heritage here in Texas.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — AARP Wyoming and The Picklr, a pickleball facility at 3741 East Lincolnway in Cheyenne, are teaming up to offer two free Pickleball Play events on Thursday, October 16 and Thursday, November 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
With nearly 2.5 million members in Texas, AARP Texas strengthens communities and advocates for what matters most to older Texans and their families, including health security, financial stability and personal fulfillment.
Our monthly Friday Jam Sessions are back! Enjoy some music making while learning about the six pillars of brain health with the Alzheimer's Association and certified music therapists from Resounding Joy. They'll share practices to help you explore the ties between music and brain health and ways you can use music to enhance your daily life and well-being. You do not need an instrument or any prior music experience to participate. Join us for both in-person and virtual events!
