The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will make its first-ever stop in Hawai`i on Hawai`i island in January and Maui in February.

In 2016, Susan was enjoying a successful career in Liquor sales when she had to resign and switch gears to become a caregiver. Her mother, Ann, had ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenia) and in need of full-time care. Caring for Ann was an honor for Susan.

AARP Oklahoma's 2023 Andrus Awards and Volunteer Celebration virtually honored Oklahomans age 50-plus for their dedicated volunteer work across the state. The Andrus Award for Community Service is named in honor of AARP founder Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus and is the highest honor presented by AARP.
