Ratepayers Can Voice Their Position by Signing an Online Petition or Attending Public Hearings in February, March & April

AARP Nebraska invites eligible, local nonprofit organizations and government entities to apply for the 2025 AARP Community Challenge grant program, now through March 5, 2025, at 4 p.m. Central. AARP Community Challenge grants fund quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more.

Finding an affordable place to live in Vermont can be challenging, but thanks to an innovative partnership between the State of Vermont and the Vermont State Housing Authority (VSHA), more Vermonters now have access to high-quality, energy-efficient housing. Through an Executive Order from Governor Phil Scott, a new program is providing brand-new, high-efficiency mobile homes at a discounted price to households earning below 140% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
