Missourians will head to the polls for the primary on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
AARP volunteers are educating Georgia residents about recent changes that could affect how they vote. Redistricting last year changed the boundaries of certain congressional and state legislative districts. A 2023 also requires employers to give workers up to two hours off for early, in-person voting.
On the ballot Voters will decide Saturday, Aug. 10, which candidates for U.S. Senate and House, state legislature, and some county and city offices advance to the Nov. 5 election.
Vermont will hold its state primary on Tuesday, Aug. 13, to choose nominees for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, governor and other statewide positions. Also on the ballot: candidates for the state legislature and other local offices.
