Dan Burden Workshop_Kennesaw
WANTED: City of Kennesaw resident with good people skills, experience managing projects, basic computer skills (email and Microsoft Word), and a desire to do good work for the community while having a lot of fun meeting new people.

Does this sound like you?

If so, you may be exactly the person we need.

AARP Georgia is now recruiting a leadership volunteer for Kennesaw. The new volunteer leader will work closely with our associate state director for community outreach. He or she will assist with recruitment, screening and assignment of local volunteers to support our Lifelong Livable Community project in Kennesaw as well as Keep Kennesaw Beautiful projects. Our volunteer leader will also represent AARP Georgia at board and committee meetings.

The Lifelong Livable Community project in Kennesaw is an exciting effort that will make Kennesaw more attractive and more inviting to seniors. As with any volunteer position, there’s no paid salary, but we will reimburse all expenses associated with the work.

To learn more about the position, please contact AARP Georgia Associate State Director Janie Walker at 404-870-3788 or via e-mail at jwalker@aarp.org. If you’re the right person, you’ll be joining a great team doing great work!
