She Doesn't Look Hungry...and That's the Problem.

Four of our amazing Los Angeles County volunteers - Jess Angulo, Sandy Hester, Mike Schutz and Sam Thomas - teamed up with us last month to record this powerful PSA on senior hunger and what we're doing to fight it.[/youtube]


Startling statistics:

  • California ranks 13th in the nation for older adult risk of hunger
  • Nearly 8% of older adults in California are at risk of hunger
  • 20.5% of California residents reported not having enough money to buy food in the last year


Our partnership with the  AARP Foundation for the  Drive to End Hunger has led to some of our most rewarding and inspiring work. The year is not over yet - we still have much to do.
