Eleven percent of older Americans are struggling to meet basic dietary needs.
Inadequate nutrition can compromise an older adult’s independence. That’s why AARP Ohio is teaming up with Comfort Keepers on Saturday, Nov. 9, in Dayton for our Drive to End Hunger food drive at three Dorothy Lane Markets serving the Dayton area.
We’re asking shoppers to Spread Some Good by donating peanut butter and other canned or boxed foods to help feed vulnerable older adults who rely on the Dayton Food Bank for some meals.
Please stop by between 9 am and 3 pm on Saturday, Nov. 9, at your Dorothy Lane Market to help stuff a Comfort Keepers truck full of food that will help the Dayton Food Pantry feed struggling seniors in your community:
