AARP in Kansas City is sponsoring a free shredding day from 9 a.m. - 12 noon at the Linwood Shopping Center (Southwest Corner) at 31st and Prospect. Individuals are invited to bring either two bags or boxes of items to be shredded - old checks, older credit card bills and anything else with personal information with your name, address, Social Security number, account number, etc.  No electronic or cardboard items will be shredded - paper only. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed from documents.
