Planning is key when casting ballots during a pandemic

The 2020 general election is fast approaching. COVID-19 has threatened the health and financial security of millions of Americans. As voters prepare to cast ballots in November, AARP is committed to helping older Americans exercise their right to vote safely while holding candidates accountable on issues like Medicare and Social Security.

AARP has a proud history of nonpartisan voter engagement. We don’t endorse candidates or contribute to their campaigns. We do, however, encourage candidates to offer solutions on the issues that matter most to you.

Casting a ballot is always important, but what is fueling the importance now?  AARP Texas Associate State Director of Advocacy Tim Morstad talked about voting on our Prepare to Care podcast. He said making a voting plan and staying safe are taking center stage during this election season.
