Ready for a Zumba workout? How about Jazz fitness or a Nia Moving to Heal class?

Are you bored with your exercise routine and ready to try something new? Or maybe you are ready to begin working on those fitness goals you’ve been thinking about? AARP Dallas-Fort Worth is here to give you some support!

This spring, AARP offers several classes to help you get on your way to feeling physically better and stronger and boost your mental wellbeing. Not only are these classes fun but they are also designed for beginners. No special training or equipment is needed. These classes are free, online, fun, and good for you.

Note: All classes are held online on the dates and times shown. AARP membership is not required. Please remember to consult your physician before starting an exercise program.

Connect with others in this fun, interactive Zumba Fitness class for all ages and abilities. Join AARP Texas and the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico for a free and easy, guided Zumba Fitness class. This virtual wellness-focused class is here to improve your mental outlook, reduce stress, enhance your range of motion, and boost your overall mood. Zumba classes take place every Tuesday at noon CT through April 30. Registration is required here:

There are proven health benefits to keeping your body moving! Nia makes it enjoyable, engaging your whole self in movement that combines expressive dance and martial arts to help you feel better physically and emotionally. This gentle workout can be done barefoot at home. Try out this popular, entry-level series led by Jule Aguirre, an international Nia training faculty member. You can improve your mental outlook, reduce stress, enhance your range of motion, and boost your overall wellbeing. Join AARP Texas for a Jazz Up Your Wellbeing dance series and move to the rhythm of jazz. We’ll dance and groove to the music every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. CT, through April 24.
