Aging doesn’t have to entail serious mental decline. The AARP Staying Sharp program offers insights on how the brain works and how to maximize mental function later in life.
AARP Utah will host a Staying Sharp session at the Uintah County Library in Vernal on May 31. An expert from the University of Utah will discuss how people of all ages can maintain cognitive health, and will address the particular concerns of those caring for family members or friends with dementia or memory loss.
The program also includes a Fraud Forum, with tips on how to avoid scammers.
To register, click here or call 877-926-8300 toll-free. AARP Utah will host another Staying Sharp session Oct. 8 in St. George.
