AARP Virginia volunteers were introduced in the House of Delegates on Jan. 25, 2024.

Volunteers met with legislators to discuss a proposed Family Caregiver Tax Credit and a Prescription Drug Affordability Board.

Volunteer advocates work throughout the General Assembly session contacting legislators, testifying about proposed legislation in committee, writing letters to the editor of their local papers and monitoring committee meetings.
