Special Event: Conversations with Meryl Comer

slow dancing with a stranger

Tuesday, June 9th from 1 to 3pm

Aldersgate United Methodist Church (1301 Collingwood Rd., Alexandria, VA 22308)

Meryl Comer is an Emmy award–winning reporter, veteran TV producer and business talk show host. She is President and CEO of the Georey Beene Foundation Alzheimer's Initiative, which promotes early diagnosis, virtual innovation challenges, m-health technologies and national public service campaigns like Georey Beene's Rock Stars of Science™. A co-founder of Women Against Alzheimer's, Comer has many accolades, including the 2015 Lauder Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Fund "Great Lady" Award.

Join us on June 9th for Conversations with Meryl Comer, a presentation, reception and book signing event not to miss!  Her recent New York Times bestseller, Slow Dancing with a Stranger, is an unflinching account of her husband's 20-year battle with early onset Alzheimer's disease that serves as a much needed wake-up call for an honest dialogue about this fatal neurodegenerative disease. One hundred percent of proceeds from her new New York Times Bestseller book, Slow Dancing with a Stranger, will support Alzheimer's research.

RSVP to Christi Clark at 703-204-4664 christi.clark@insightmcc.org by June 1st!
