Volunteer Ambassador Needed for Chrysalis Center Training and Conference Center

The  Chrysalis Center Conference and Training Center in Hartford is looking for a volunteer for occasional event support.

Volunteer duties may include being asked to act as a “human arrow” and help direct people from the parking lot to the TCC entrance; sit at the TCC Reception Desk and greet people; help them locate the coat room or bathroom (and check on supplies for bathroom);  direct them to the event room; and contact staff if any issues arise.

The typical length of time would be two to four hours on a weekday, with an occasional evening.  The volunteer position involves standing and sitting, and interacting with the public.

The Chrysalis Center Inc. is looking for someone with customer service skills and a pleasant disposition. They are located in a new building with state of the art facilities, and plenty of safe, secure parking.
