AARP is now accepting nominations for its 2025 Washington Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors 50+ Washingtonians who are sharing their experience, talent, and skills to enrich the lives of their community members.

New Program Available to Help Eligible Washington Residents Get Essential High-Speed Internet
The 2022 legislative session led to a significant win for Washingtonians nearing retirement. More than a million near retirees are now eligible for benefits under the WA Cares Program.
AARP Foundation and AARP Washington will help older adults learn the skills they need to fill available jobs through a free job training and mentoring program.

Washington State is the first in the nation to develop a new and innovative way to make long-term care more affordable for all workers in the state as we age. AARP advocated for the WA Cares Fund because hard-working Washingtonians deserve access to flexible and affordable long-term care coverage when needed.
