AARP Wyoming will pay tribute to the state’s 106,000 family caregivers at a luncheon on April 29, which is Caregiver Appreciation Day at the Wyoming Conference on Aging. Luncheon speakers will discuss how to work with state, county and local governments to build a caregiver-friendly community.
In addition, Kathy Greenlee, assistant secretary for aging at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will participate in a panel discussion on caregiving on April 28.
