AARP Wyoming has transformed its successful Care for Caregivers in-person series into a fully replicable toolkit designed to help community organizations better support caregivers in their area. Drawing from three years of delivering this program across the state of Wyoming, the toolkit offers a flexible curriculum that organizations can tailor to meet the unique needs of their local communities.
After a public comment hearing for the Public Service Commission (PSC) in Casper produced an overflow audience of ratepayers, it has become clear that Wyomingites have strong feelings on Rocky Mountain Power’s proposed rate increase.
These free events will be held at Laramie County Library and feature members of AARP Wyoming’s volunteer speakers bureau.
The 2023 Wyoming Healthy Aging Data Report is an easy-to-use resource created by researchers at the Gerontology Institute of the University of Massachusetts-Boston led by Dr. Elizabeth Dugan, in partnership with the Wyoming Healthy Aging Coalition and coordinated by Professor Emeritus Virginia B. Vincenti, PhD, CFCS, at the University of Wyoming.
Hayworth won the award through a vote on AARP Wyoming’s Facebook page, and the AARP Wyoming email distribution list. In total, Hayworth received over 760 votes, beating her closest competition by over 400 votes.
The movie is the latest from writer and director Nia Vardalos and is the latest in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise. This movie will follow the Portokalos family as they travel to a family reunion in Greece for a heartwarming and hilarious trip of love, twists, and turns. The movie is rated PG-13 for suggestive material and some nudity.
With the impacts of opioids remaining in the news in recent months, AARP Wyoming and Mountain Pacific Quality Health have teamed up to provide new information on opioid safety, pain management, and reducing harm in our communities. It has been called the “most consequential preventable public health problem in the United States.”

The series is hosted by Barry Wiesenfeld, an internationally recognized award-winning musician, published author, and part of the music faculty of SUNY and Ramapo College. He will lead the discussion about some of music's biggest influences.
