AARP Eye Center
AARP Wyoming is working with elected officials in Casper to help it become the first city in the state to join the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities.
Cities, towns and rural areas that join the network are committed to making improvements in eight areas identified by the World Health Organization as critical for a place to be livable for people of all ages. Key factors include walkable streets, housing and transportation options, access to services and opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in local activities.
AARP volunteers sought approval from the Casper City Council to pursue the age-friendly designation and are working toward the same goal in Jackson.
