The state office is soliciting stories that can be used as case studies to help legislators and reporters understand the human challenges of the unpaid job. Some of the stories may be used in news stories or opinion pieces.
Delaware caregivers provided about 132 million hours of care in 2009, valued at more than $1.5 billion, according to a study from the AARP Public Policy Institute.
