Recognizing the need for Chapter Awareness in communities across the country, the Office of Volunteer Engagement launched the Chapter Awareness Grant Project in 2018. The grants, ranging from $300 to $1000 were used to fund new AARP Chapter projects or activities that were designed to increase Chapter awareness in the community and/or the recruitment and engagement of new Chapter members.
