Do It Yourself (or DIY) Toolkits are ready-made, interactive presentations and supporting materials for AARP staff and volunteers interested in leading local, community presentations. DIY Toolkits include a range of social impact content; facilitator and participant materials ; and approved promotional tools.

To ensure the best user experience possible, the Volunteer Portal will no longer support the use of Internet Explorer for volunteer users beginning on August 5, 2019. At that time, significant performance issues could be encountered when logging into the Volunteer Portal using Internet Explorer.
The Volunteer Portal is undergoing a bit of a facelift during 2019! The refresh will create a more visually appealing user experience and allow for enhancements to key features – some in response to your feedback. Staff users have been using the new look and feel since March 24. Staff users have already realized the time saving benefits and new features highlighted in the testimonials below. The new look and feel will launch for volunteers on August 5, 2019.

AARP is seeking a group of exceptional leaders for a critical role as a Champion for the Volunteer Portal. Champions will be key partners to the project team and Program Leadership to ensure that the Volunteer Portal meets the needs of users and prepare colleagues and volunteers for the changes that will be required in how they do their work within the Volunteer Portal.
