AARP Staff, Volunteers Talk to Legislators about Issues Affecting 50+ West Virginians

Health care costs

AARP West Virginia is mobilizing its Capitol Advocacy Team to advance key legislative priorities throughout the 60-day session.

Issues affecting West Virginians age 50 and older include health care, financial security, voters’ rights, affordable utilities and livable communities. AARP staff and volunteers have been frequenting the Capitol since the legislature convened in February and will continue to speak out on these issues through the end of the session next month.
