On December 10, 6-8 pm, the Decatur/DeKalb Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is partnering with AARP Georgia to host “My Sisters Keeper,” a free life-skills workshop focused on older adults (ages 50+) who may be dealing with depression, non-traditional family roles, and financial resiliency issues.

Macon-Bibb County area residents can safely dispose of outdated documents, outdated prescriptions, and have their cars checked for best mirror and seat placement at a free event Saturday, October 25, Central City Park, 180 Willie Smokie Glover Drive. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and will run through 2 p.m. on October 25. The event is co-sponsored by AARP Georgia and the Macon-Bibb County Parks and Recreation Department.
