Events held across the country enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. And, they provide a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together for fun, food and activities. Join the AARP Fraud Watch Network at one of the events listed below. Why did you decide to volunteer for the Fraud Watch Network? I feel very strongly about the issue. These types of crimes are relatively easy to commit. It’s not right that people get money for nothing; even worse when they take advantage of honest hard-working folks. I want to help keep people from being victimized. Everybody should have to work for what they earn. How can you take pride in earning if you’re cheating?

People of all ages will take to San Jose's streets on Sunday, May 19, for Viva CalleSJ day. Participants will set out on bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters and walking shoes to enjoy six miles of traffic-free streets, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
