The Nappywood 10th Anniversary event will be held this Sunday, Sept 10 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Ontario Convention Center. AARP will not be able to join Nappywood’s celebration of hair and beauty but we wish Nappywood much success with the event.
Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from September 15 to October 15, is a time to honor the contributions that Hispanics and Latinos have made to advance our history, society and economy. AARP California celebrates the culture and contributions of this vibrant community by offering a diverse menu of events. Events are FREE and advanced registration is required. In June, AARP awarded more than $155,000 in grants to 11 organizations across California, as a part of its nationwide annual funding campaign to enhance community living. Included are grants to help improve transit options.
