El Mes Nacional de la Historia de la Mujer en Estados Unidos se originó de una celebración en 1978 de las contribuciones de la mujer a la cultura, historia y sociedad, organizada por el distrito escolar de Sonoma, California. Throughout the month we will be highlighting Californian grandparents and their efforts to share stories and build legacy with their grandbabies. This week we interviewed Elaine and Garrison Ross of Campbell, CA.

Beginning February and continuing through April 15 th, AARP Foundation is providing free in-person tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program in California and nationwide. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide started in 1968 and is the nation’s largest volunteer-run free tax preparation service. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified each year. There’s no fee, and AARP membership is not required.
