And with that anniversary comes a responsibility to strengthen the program – and determine how we can help it age in the healthiest way. As the bedrock of retirement in America, our financial future depends on protecting Social Security for decades to come.
Throughout 2024, AARP DC continued to advocate for policies to empower District residents to improve their lives and choose where and how they live as they age. AARP DC has a long history of supporting older District residents who want to live independently as they age. This year, AARP DC fought for issues that matter most to seniors, their families and caregivers.
As scams and fraud accelerate, AARP Maryland and others will showcase the latest trends and tips during Protect Week, to be held June 16-20. About 20 partners — including law enforcement and state officials — are involved.
AARP is thriving in Maine and we continue to offer fun and meaningful opportunities to learn, make new friends, and enjoy communities across Maine.
