The AARP Livability IndexTM platform is the most comprehensive, web-based tool of its kind that scores every neighborhood and community in all 50 states and the District of Columbia for the services and amenities that affect people’s lives the most as they age.
Wish of a Lifetime, an AARP charitable affiliate, has fulfilled more than 2,500 wishes for adults 65 and older. The wishes are wide reaching, from introducing a grandparent to a grandchild they had only recently learned existed to helping a woman go to clown college.
AARP strongly supports new bipartisan legislation, the Alleviating Barriers for Caregivers Act, which would make it easier for family caregivers to navigate key financial and health care programs.
