AARP Connecticut is offering members free admission to two Saturday games with the Hartford Yard Goats and to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport on the fourth Friday of each month.
A limited number of tickets are available for the AA baseball team’s games on July 7 against the Portland Sea Dogs and Aug. 4 against the Trenton Thunder. Free Fridays at the Beardsley Zoo will be July 27, Aug. 24 and Sept. 28. Present your AARP membership card at the gate. A special after-hours event at the zoo will be Thursday, Oct. 11, 4:30-8 p.m., with refreshments in the carousel building at 5:30 p.m. To register, go to aarp.cvent.com/CTZooAfterHours.
