This virtual performance by the Ukulele Moonshiners promises to be a lively exploration of ukulele songs and the instrument’s unique sound.
Eight Illinois entities received 2024 AARP Community Challenge grants, totaling just over $60,000. The grants fund projects aimed at improving public spaces, housing, transit and civic engagement, among other goals. Nationally, AARP awarded $3.8 million in grants for 343 projects this year.
AARP is hosting two great events to celebrate our Veterans! Both events are virtual and will be livestreamed on November 11th! The first event is a Veterans Salute by the ByGone Gals from 1-2:30PM.
