Des Moines Performing Arts is offering discount tickets for AARP members at selected theater and music performances in the Willis Broadway Series and at the Temple for the Performing Arts. The shows include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which runs May 16-21.

AARP Iowa and the state Office of Attorney General are hosting a teletown hall about imposter scams on Tuesday, April 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. AARP also is sponsoring two free shredding events, one in Des Moines on April 29, and the other in Cedar Rapids on May 1.

AARP and the Age Friendly Greater Des Moines Initiative are proud to join with the Downtown Chamber to co-host the April 4th Downtown Council networking event from 8-9 am at the Iowa Cub Club at Principal Park, 1 Line Drive, Des Moines 50309.
