Local AARP Speakers Available To Talk About ACA, Social Security & Medicare

AARP Volunteer Pat Killen

AARP Wisconsin volunteer speakers are ready, willing and eager to give free presentations to community groups across the state about provisions of the Affordable Care Act that impact seniors and their families.

There is a lot to learn about the health care law, how it impacts Medicare, as well as new coverage options in Wisconsin.

In addition to the health care law, volunteers are also available to present on commonsense solutions that Congress could consider to make Medicare and Social Security stronger and more solvent for current and future generations.

“Many of our members have told us they are confused and often misled about how the ACA will affect them beginning in 2014,” said AARP Wisconsin Federal Issues Advocacy Director Lisa Lamkins. “We want to give them clear, simple, accurate  information about the ACA.

Any community group that would like to invite a guest speaker to give one of these presentations is encouraged to complete our online speaker request form.
