The following resources in Connecticut can assist residents in finding and accessing available long-term care services and supports, one-on-one counseling, legal services, and other assistance. 

State of Connecticut Long-Term Care Website

Website provides easy access to comprehensive information on private and public long-term care (LTC) services and supports in Connecticut, including: Home Care, Community Care, Housing, and Residential or Nursing Home Care.  Helpful information is also available for those who provide care and for people interested in the options for planning for their own future needs.

2-1-1 Infoline

A toll-free, 24-hour helpline for Connecticut residents.  Call specialists can help answer questions related to LTC and provide information about State and local resources and organizations in Connecticut. 

CHOICES Program

Operated in collaboration with the five Area Agencies on Aging in Connecticut, the CHOICES program provides free, statewide Health Insurance Assistance, Outreach, Information and Referrals, Counseling, and Eligibility Screening for seniors and other Connecticut residents.   

Connecticut Legal Services

CLS provides legal representation and counseling on a variety of civil issues to low-income individuals and families.
