Southern Marylanders: AARP wants to hear what’s on your mind.
Traveling by van, AARP state office staff will visit the largely rural area of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties next month to discuss issues such as retirement security, caregiving and affordable utilities.
The events include a networking hour in Solomons Island, Oct. 7; a volunteers breakfast in Charlotte Hall, Oct. 8; and a breakfast in Waldorf, Oct. 9.
AARP members and nonmembers alike are invited, as are local elected officials. The events are free, but registration is required.
