Jazz musicians will draw fans to several locations across St. Paul, June 23-25, for the 18th Annual Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Headliners this year include Ellis Marsalis, Delfeayo Marsalis, Russell Malone, Michael Franti and Joey Alexander. AARP Minnesota is the main sponsor of the three-day celebration.
“The Twin Cities Jazz Festival is one of the highlights of summer in Minnesota,” said Will Phillips, AARP state director. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to come out and listen to world-class live music while connecting with friends and neighbors and finding out more about AARP activities in the community.”
Admission to the festival is free. AARP invites jazz fans to drop by its booth near the main stage at Mears Park for giveaways and to sign up for a drawing. Prizes include VIP seats at select performances. For details, go to aarp.org/mn.
