AARP Eye Center
If you are in your 40s, 50s or 60s, now is the time to start planning for your future. Are you ready for retirement? Will you have long-term care needs, or will you be caring for others? Will your home meet your needs?
AARP North Carolina is hosting a series of workshops in Charlotte called “Living Longer, Living Smarter.” The four sessions focus on staying healthy and living independently, options and costs of long-term care and how to pay for it, advice and decisions about where to live, and legal documents to ensure that your loved ones know what you want and can act on your behalf if necessary.
The workshops are at the Mountain Island Library Branch April 4, 11, 18 and 25, and at BrightStar Care home care agency March 12 and 26 and April 9. For more information or to register, go to states.aarp.org/lscharlotte or call 877-926-8300 toll-free.
