AARP Hosts Seacoast Listening Tour

You've Earned a Say vertical
Add Your Voice: earnedasay.org

AARP New Hampshire returns to the Seacoast June 4, 5 and 6 and invites residents to share their ideas and “have a say” about the future of Social Security and Medicare during two You’ve Earned a Say listening sessions in Portsmouth at Community Campus and Living Innovations

Last year, AARP’s You’ve Earned a Say initiative took the debate about the future of Social Security and Medicare out of Washington and into communities across New Hampshire so Granite Staters could have a voice.  But too many in Washington aren’t listening.

That’s is why AARP is back in the Seacoast, inviting Granite Staters to engage in a discussion on finding responsible, commonsense solutions about the future of Social Security and Medicare.  Social Security and Medicare are the bedrock of financial security for thousands of Granite Staters – with 254,752 relying on Social Security and 221,168 on Medicare.

But that’s not all that’s happening June 4, 5 and 6.  Another “listening” session -- an open house at New Hampshire Public Television in Durham -- gives Seacoast residents a chance to share their views on the work of AARP in the Granite State.  Also on tap is an informational session at the Dover Public Library for those interested in exploring volunteer opportunities available at AARP.
