Job Fair Seeks Experienced Workers

AARP New Hampshire, along with two state agencies, is hosting its first Experienced Workers job fair, for people 50-plus.

Employers need qualified workers in the state, where unemployment has fallen below 3 percent. Older people tend to be jobless longer, but they bring productivity and experience to a multigenerational workforce.

Open to the public, the event takes place Friday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St. in Manchester.
