Looking for a Fun Way to Serve Your Community? Tax-Aide Needs Volunteers! Not all Volunteers do Taxes!

Tax-Aide is a free tax preparation service sponsored by AARP Foundation and certified by the IRS. We are looking for compassionate and friendly people to join our volunteer team. We provide the training and support to help you learn new skills, and you’ll get a great feeling from helping those in need.

In New Hampshire, 278 volunteers e-filed over 10,000 returns this past year at 43 locations, helping taxpayers get more than 10,000,000 in refunds while saving them millions in fees. This can’t happen without volunteers like you.

In addition to tax return preparation counselors, Tax-Aide also needs volunteers to assist with administrative duties such as volunteer recruiting, reaching out to taxpayers, arranging appointments, and registering them, as well as individuals with technical expertise to oversee computer systems, printers, and address network problems.
