Join AARP New Jersey for two virtual Days at the Capitol – on Thursday, June 10 and Friday, June 11. Each event will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. ET and will have a different lineup of guests.
As the first COVID-19 vaccines have become available in the U.S., a state-by-state patchwork has emerged for where and when older adults can get inoculated. Even in states that have started offering vaccines to older adults — to those 65 and over, 70 and over, 75 and over or 80 and over, depending on the state — getting a vaccination appointment can be a huge challenge.

We applaud Governor Murphy for enacting a bill today that expands voting access in New Jersey. The bill (A4830/S3203) establishes in-person early voting procedures that will allow voters to cast their ballots early in specially designated polling locations.

New Jersey has created a senior-specific call center at 856-249-7007 that can assist those 75 and older with registering for, scheduling and rescheduling appointments from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
