AARP New York Celebrates a Day of Service

Volunteers and staff from AARP New York fanned out across the state to celebrate AARP's Day of Service on September 11.

The New York City team packed meals on the U.S.S. Intrepid that will be donated to hungry New Yorkers and distributed for hurricane relief efforts.

In the Capital Region, our Albany team made and served lunch at the Capital City Rescue Mission.

And on Long Island, we continued a collaboration with RockCANroll.org to collect food for local food pantries.
