AARP Eye Center
AARP New York is empowering Veterans, Military, and their Families (VMF) to navigate the complexities of life’s transitions by providing helpful resources and delivering unwavering commitment to those who have served our nation.
Veterans, military, and their families embody our founder’s vision: Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus believed America’s older population to be “an army of useful citizens – to serve others, not to be served.” The VMF community has dedicated their livelihood to the service of others, which is why AARP New York is committed to serving them. Throughout the month of November and beyond, AARP New York will focus on the core areas cited by the VMF community to be of highest concern. These areas include work & jobs, caregiving, and fraud prevention.
By seizing the opportunity for a comprehensive online resource for veterans’ needs, AARP New York will be distributing Veteran-focused information via our social media platforms and our state-wide AARP website. Be sure to follow us for posts supporting #VeteransMilitaryFamiliesMonth and watch the special videos!
