AARP's Nassau County Executive Voter Guide 2017

Welcome to our voters’ guide for the 2017 Nassau County executive race. Joining us to give their views on issues of interest to voters 50+ are the Democratic candidate Laura Curran, and the Republican candidate, Jack Martins.

Each of the candidates will provide an opening remark and answer the same five questions, seeking their vision for Nassau County on issues that 50 plus residents have told us they care about. These include caregiving, affordable housing, livable communities and the high cost of utilities.

Each candidate had 90 seconds to answer and neither candidate could hear their opponent’s response.

We thank the candidates for meeting with us, and we thank you for taking the time to become informed on the issues. And don’t forget to vote on November 7!
